Are you looking for a way to take control of your health?

At my last physical, I mentioned in passing that I had been having migraines in the last year.

I wasn’t asked any other questions, but I was given three prescriptions.

I didn’t take any of the pills with a long list of side effects, but I did start getting serious about daily myofascial release, targeted yoga practices, my diet, my sleep, and screen time. The migraines have not come back.

I’ve sat in a lot of doctor’s offices since my breast cancer diagnosis in 2012 and increasingly they are becoming quick fix factories. But, while the human body is astounding in its ability to heal, it’s a wholistic system that responds best to what it’s made to do—move, eat, digest, and rest.

I’m grateful for modern medicine, which saved my life back in 2012. But in the years since then, I’ve learned how to take control of my health and support my whole body during the 8,764 hours I’m not in a doctor’s office each year. I want to help you do that too.

Please note that we are just reopening after moving our studio and surviving the pandemic. We are starting slow, but promise we will build our virtual libraries and in person special programs in the new year.

Private, one on one sessions are available now.

This list includes Sara’s specialized trainings through Yoga Medicine and areas she has helped students address through one-on-one private sessions.

Sara has invested in training through Yoga Medicine, the premier therapeutic yoga training program for orthopedic and neurological yoga.

Yoga Medicine is different than most trainings in that trainings are specifically designed for one-on-one private sessions rather than group classes, as is the norm for yoga certifications and advanced yoga training programs.

Yoga medicine trains its elite teachers to work with medical professionals as well as private clients and is science backed.
